 Vicky GCF, Workshop Manager
. I relish the challenge of designing a mount and frame to display the artwork to best advantage.
I enjoy building a relationship with customers. It’s difficult to describe the satisfaction when a customer asks for you by name because they were pleased with work you have previously done”.
Vicky began work with Maws Gallery when she left school in 1994. Originally interested in the photographic side of the business the framing side soon took over. Since then Vicky has completed both retail and management qualifications and has achieved Guild Commended Framer status which is a qualification recognised throughout the world.

Trevor GM Inst M, GCF.
"I look after the technical side of the business. Even now (after 16 years) I can be surprised at the different things we are asked to frame; a montage of photographs; a 10 foot tableau; wartime memorabilia; a wedding dress; and a bayonet, to name but a few jobs we have completed recently".
Trevor has been in business in Shropshire for 30 years. Although now retired he is retained by Maws Gallery to advise on business and technical matters.
  Joy
“I enjoy working in Maws workshop. The work is varied, interesting and often a challenge. It is particularly satisfying to bring a design to completion”.
Joy came to help during a busy period in 2002 and has been with us ever since.
Anne
“I enjoy meeting the really interesting customers that come into the workshop and the ‘hands on’ nature of what I do.
If there is any delay in completing a job we always ring to the customer explain. The call is so appreciated that I can’t understand why other businesses don’t do the same.
Arthritis forced Anne to give up full time nursing in 1994. Not being a person to sit about she soon started with Maws Gallery as a ‘lunchtime relief’.
Anne’s ‘people skills’ were quickly recognised and she is now experienced in all aspects of design and framing.
