Vicky GCF
Vicky began work with Maws Gallery when she left school in 1994. Originally interested in the photography side of the business but soon became fascinated with picture framing. Since then she has completed a number of qualifications (customer service and management), one achievement, in particular, being a Guild Commended Framer which is a qualification recognised throughout the world.
In 2006 Vicky took over ownership of the business with her mother Joy.
She has a real passion for artwork and framing and loves bringing together the framing design, colours and practical work to create the finished piece that will last for many years to come.
Throughout her 30 years of training and experience, she has built up a loyal customer following.
You are likely to see Vicky Monday to Saturday.
Joy
Joy started working at Maws Gallery once a week in 2002 during a busy period. In 2006 Joy took over ownership of the business with daughter Vicky.
She is a valued member of the team and takes great care in making sure that all the bookwork is up to date. She enjoys all aspects of framing and is pleased to see the end product of customers’ work.
She likes meeting new customers and her approachable personality helps build up a good rapport with people.
You may be greeted by Joy on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
