You will be limited to about fifteen different standard sizes. These are based on photographic and poster shapes and sizes.
If your work is an odd size or shape you can usually write off this ‘ready made’ option.
You will be offered a limited choice of patterns. Being realistic most mass produced frames are made to meet a budget conscious market.The quality, style and construction will be adequate but not special.
