The moulding not only needs to suit the artwork, but also the surroundings where the picture will hang.
Pine might go nicely in a kitchen but will not necessarily sit comfortably with a mahogany dining suite.
Does the frame measure up?
Is the right size?
Is the colour and style appropriate to artwork?
Is the rebate deep enough?
Are the lengths of moulding matched for profile, grain & colour?
Are the supplied fixings secure?
Are the mitres closed?
Is it repeatable?
